” Nothing is impossible, the word itself say ‘I’m Possible’.” Audrey Hepburn

From an early age I have been involved with sport where I first learnt the value of training. With hard work, persistence and support, I achieved my dreams of representing my region, state and nation in a number of sports.
In 2004 I was selected to attend the Australian Institute of Sport as an elite athlete where I represented Australia in Women’s Volleyball. From this experience I learnt the true meaning of discipline, trust and belief, not only in my team and coach, but most importantly myself. This experience together with my passion for health and fitness thrust me powerfully into the amazing fitness industry, and on my journey of helping others transform their lives.

There is no such thing as an easy workout

I have had a very active background and have been involved in the fitness industry since the age of 15. I have played rugby league, rugby union, cricket, basketball, touch football, BMX, snowboarding, swimming, athletics for a number of years. My most proud moment is captaining my rugby league side and winning the grand final. I love weight training, martial arts and boxing. The main reason that I became a personal trainer is because I love the way I feel when I am fit and strong and I want to share my knowledge to help others.

Two years ago,I set out on the journey to become a Fitness Model, I had no idea how to pose, how I was going to afford it, how I was going to find out what diet to stick to being a non meat eater, who I needed to be my coach, all I had was the belief that I knew I could do it. In between the 2 years, I was attacked by a dog really badly, I ended up with 40 stitches in my arm, nerve damage, in hospital, I couldn't even do a push up, I wanted so many times to give up on my dream, but I was surrounded by people that took a stand for me,they gave me that push, I am still so unbelievably thankful to this day for the people that believed in me when all I really wanted to do was give up, they helped me to see that Anything is possible, I defeated being depressed and down and took the choice to stand tall and fight. I promised myself to never give up,not just on fitness modelling, but all of my dreams. I could have died that day, I am thankful everyday to be given a chance to help animals, help those around me, and to be the best woman I can be. I can and will make a positive difference to this world.

My fitness journey started as far back as I remember. My father has been into sports and fitness all his life, therefore I have been too. His role model made me see fitness and being fit as a lifestyle. When I moved to Australia from Colombia, a few years ago, I was so motivated to keep going with this lifestyle. Seeing people being so passionate about exercising and keeping healthy made me realise that this is the best thing we can do with our bodies. I believe that we reflect a strong mind with a strong body… I have participated in countless triathlons, one marathon, a few half marathons, fun races, etc. Also, I have done amateur motorcycle racing; I still do the occasional track day but nothing too extreme. However, my passion for 2 wheels doesn’t stop there, I do mountain biking on the weekends just for fun. My fitness journey took me to the water as well, for a few years I did free diving and mono-fin swimming; you’ll have to “youtube” those ones to understand them. Swimming has been a very important part of my life too. After acquiring all this experience in sports, I decided to transmit all my knowledge to people likeminded and in need of guidance. That’s why I completed my Cert III and IV. After that, my journey became easier and full of passion for fitness, helping people to be healthier and stronger is my reward… I enjoy very much working with determined people and there’s one inside all of us, we just have to believe how capable we are.
"I like to be *against the odds*. *I'm not afraid* to be lonely at the top. With me, it's just the satisfaction of the game. Just performance."
